HAPPY (fitness) FRIDAY!!!!
The Cure said it best….
I am in love with Friday too. I am also in love with a few other things this week:
1) Early morning runs- Just.Can’t.Get.Enough. (WHO AM I? And where did my evil, snooze-button pushing twin go?)
2) Green smoothies with unsweetened coconut flakes
3) Yoga- I took an amazing free class last night at International Orange with lululemon athletica. It was just what the doctor ordered after an insane Thursday at work.
4) Damien Rice -for warm up & cool down running
5) Tags I see while running & how they always seem so fitting!

6) Everything about blogging & community Running Bloggers & Fitness Friday!
HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!!!
What are your plans for this weekend?
Long runs? Relaxing? Dessert eating?
Who is racing?
XO,
CS
Great run!
This weekend, we have a birthday party and we will probably go see Monsters University. Excited to spend time with family and friends 🙂
I am planning a long bridge run, and dessert eating. I am stocking up on all my favorite treats because come Thursday, I will be down to applesauce, jello and similar nastiness.
No racing for me 😦
Thanks! Ooo I want to see the monsters movie, loved the first one! Sounds like a great weekend 🙂 what’s happening Thursday!? Best of luck to you and happy weekend!!
This post made me realize I have no plans yet set for the weekend:) But I usually find myself up in the mountains, probably get a little fishing in and just relaxing:) Have a great weekend!
Wow! That sounds great! That make me realize how much I could use some nature time 🙂
this weekend is all about recovery in fact the next few weeks is about recovery running, no specific distance or pace just get out and run.
Awesome! Enjoy!!
1. I sing that cure song every Friday on my way to/from work 2. I am so jealous you can still wear pants running! I melt walking to my car.
Awe! Love that you sing this song! Yes, in SF you can wear pants all year round haha
And now that song is stuck in my head!!! But it’s making me smile, so that’s okay 🙂 new reader here! Love it!! Awesome run!! I have GOT to start running in the mornings, I envy anyone who can make that happen!! Way to go!!
Hi!! Thanks for reading! Can’t wait to check out your blog. It has definitely taken some getting used to but I have grown to love these early morning runs! Feels great to get off work and know that I can just go home and relax!
I’m a stay at home mom right now so Friday’s are fantastic because it means the weekend which means a bit of a break and help from my husband. It can also mean a longer run because I can run when they nap as opposed to after dinner!! Love your blog!
Thanks for reading! I give it up to all the mamas out there! When I last saw my (almost 2 year old) nephew I was exhausted after playing with him for a day haha! That must be very nice knowing you have a few days of help 🙂 How long have you been running for? I hope you are having a great weekend so far. Can’t wait to check out your blog too!
Love this post! And the positivity 🙂 I haven’t run that fast since high school – I need to get moving…And what is your secret to early morning running. I can’t do it!!!
Hello! Thanks… I try extra hard to be positive (at work I refer to it as the positivity campaign 😉 ) I have been enjoying seeing progress in my running (finally haha!) Honestly, early morning running was NOT easy at first. When that alarm goes off and I want to ignore it, I tell myself how much better my day will be if I get my workout in early. I also give myself little treats along the training way as motivation. For example, this weekend I treated myself to some new running clothes!
