I have big news!
I signed up for my first FULL MARATHON!!! I will be running the Nike Women’s Marathon on October 20th & I couldn’t be more excited. I officially began training this morning!
The time has come for me to stop telling myself that this distance is too daunting, something reserved for the “superstars”. The time has come for me to believe in myself and give it a shot. My goal is simple: finish the damn marathon. I want to start running and just keep running until I see the finish line. Simple enough right?! 😉
There is something exhilarating about trying to tackle a new distance. I am excited to train, sweat, struggle, improve, learn, get stronger, and FINISH!
Expect to hear many updates over the next 19 weeks.
