Today is a day to celebrate! HAPPY NATIONAL RUNNING DAY TO ALL!
I celebrated this morning by going running. And, of course, I snapped a few graffiti pics while I was at it.
Nothing like the sights you see while city running.
Here is to all of the long runs, short runs, slow runs, and fast runs. Here is to all of the blisters, lost toenails, ice baths, gel shots and Gu chomps. Here is to running to feel alive, running with friends, running a race, and running alone. Here is to 5 AM wake up calls, power songs, and stamina. Here is to miles logged, muscle built, and fears conquered. Here is to foam rolling, new shoes, compression socks, and spandex. Here is to anyone brave enough to lace up their shoes and step outside of their comfort zone. Here is to PR’s, plateaus, ups, downs, and in-betweens. Here is to health and happiness. Here is to you and me, and the many reasons we decide to run. May running remind you of your strength, your dedication, your passion, and your pride.
Why do you run?
What did you do to celebrate?

Hi Karen. Thank you!!! It does feel great to feel strong and start to see your times change a little bit. Don’t you just love all of the street art?? Even things I pass regularly are so great to see while running. It always inspires me to snap a picture. Miss you & hope to visit soon! XO
